Rally Rules and Info

  • You must be 21 years or older to enter (Photo ID required).
  • All Bikers are welcome.  However, MTR  has a No Colors/No Cuts  rule.  Meaning No Patches-only support shirts.
  • No glass bottles allowed.



  • All camping is on a first come first serve basis.  No reservations are available.
  • Roping off of campgrounds is not allowed. 
  • All camping is primitive camping.  No electrical or water hookups are available in the camping area.
  • Generators are welcome, but please be considerate of your neighbors.
  • RVs must park perpendicular to the road.  Leave a 10 ft “Right of Way” for walking traffic.
  • Support vehicles (cars and trucks) are allowed in camping areas but must remain parked except to exit the grounds.  They are not allowed to “cruise” the grounds.
  • Grills and outdoor fireplaces that are supported by legs are permitted. OPEN FIRES and BARREL FIRES are NOT allowed.  Fires must be extinguished and ashes must be removed before exiting grounds.
  • Please help keep the grounds clean.  Trash cans are located throughout the grounds.  Trash bags will be provided for your camping area.
  • Hot showers available. (Located in Camping Area and near Exit Gate).
  • Port-A-Johns are located throughout the grounds.


  • Golf Carts & UTVs are allowed – $20 fee due for each one.  NO ATVs ALLOWED (Four Wheelers,etc).
  • Please be reminded that this is a BIKER/MOTORCYCLE RALLY.  Golf Carts & UTVs are permitted as transportation around the rally site.  However, Motorcycles always have the right of way at this event.  Maximum speed for vehicles is 5 mph and must remain a safe distance from motorcycles at all times.  Failure to obey this policy will result in immediate confiscation of your utility vehicle until your departure (or your removal from the event).


  • Small pets (dogs/cats only) are allowed but must remain on a leash in your camping area.
  • Absolutely NO tethered pets.  Your pet must be inside your camper or tent when unattended.
  • You are required to clean up behind your pet.
  • Constant barking may bother some fellow campers.  If a complaint is received about your pet, you will need to find other accommodations.
  • Dogs of any breed that are aggressive or hostile are NOT allowed.   If you enter with one you will be asked to leave, with no refund of any fees paid.
  • Event is Rain or Shine.
  • The event is BYOB. Convenience stores are located within a few miles.
  • Ice is sold on the premises.
  • This is a motorcycle rally.  There may be noise and music all night long.  People come to have a good time, so don’t be offended by your neighbors.  Earplugs are a good thing.
  • Remember, your picture may be taken by fellow rally goers…….If you don’t want anyone to see it later, don’t show it at the rally.
  • Not responsible for accidents, theft or loss of property.  Please be safe and considerate of others.
  • This is a public venue.  All LOCAL, STATE and FEDERAL laws apply.  Law Enforcement may make frequent visits to the rally site. Please be reminded of this but also continue to have a good time.  NO Weapons. NO Drugs. NO Attitudes. NO Public Nudity.


  • In an attempt to provide for everyone’s safe enjoyment of the Milledgeville Thunder Rally, the above rules must be adhered to.  Failure to do so will result in removal from the event without reimbursement of fees paid.  Criminal charges may be made where applicable.
